Delete your Coltiva account

This page explains how to delete your account for the coltiva! Android app (eu.coltiva.coltivaapp), published by Eflix AB.

Delete your account in the app

Open the app, tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner of the main screen, and choose Delete account. Confirm in the dialog and the account is deleted straight away. You don’t need to give a reason. (If you haven’t joined a group yet, the Delete account button is at the bottom of that screen instead.)

If you are the last member of your group, deleting your account also deletes the group: its grow systems and automation are removed, and its devices are unpaired so they can be set up again from scratch. The app asks you to type the group name to confirm this.

Or request deletion by email

If you can’t sign in to the app, email contact@coltiva.eu from the address you used to create your account, with the subject “Delete my account”.

That’s the whole request. If you can’t write from the account’s email address, tell us which account you mean and we’ll verify it another way before deleting anything.

What happens next:

We reply to confirm we’ve received the request.
We verify that the request comes from the account holder.
We delete the account and confirm by email when it’s done.

We complete emailed deletion requests within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your account and login
Your email address
Sensor readings, device settings, and system history stored against your account

Deletion is permanent. Once it’s done you won’t be able to log in to that account, and the data can’t be recovered. Your Coltiva hardware keeps working, and you can set it up again under a new account at any time.

What we keep, and for how long

If you have bought hardware from us, Swedish accounting law (Bokföringslagen) requires us to keep invoice and order records for seven years from the end of the financial year. We keep those records for that purpose only, and they aren’t linked back to your deleted app account.

Nothing else is retained.
